Can I pay my bill online?
Yes, online bill pay is available for this division. Click here to pay your bill. Our customer service department is open for walk-ins Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

How many carts are we allowed to have?
Each resident on an automated route receives one cart and a recycling bin for no additional charge with the service. If you would like additional carts we will provide up to 3 for a nominal fee per month. The carts you receive are based on the order you placed with SGC. If the carts you received do not match the order you placed, please call Solano Garbage Company customer service at (707) 437-8900. We will replace your carts with the sizes you ordered. Each household is allowed to change container sizes for garbage, recycling and green waste once a year without a charge. All cart bodies are charcoal grey. The cart with the charcoal grey lid is for regular household garbage only. The cart with the blue lid is for recyclables and the cart with the green lid is for green waste.
Is my recycling material collected on the same day as the trash?

What do you accept for curbside recycling?
Acceptable Aluminum and metal cans (labels do not have to be removed) Plastic #1-#7 Newspaper Corrugated cardboard/box board (i.e. cereal, soda, beer type packaging). What happens when my home service day falls on a holiday?
Solano Garbage Company provides service to its customer every weekday with the exception of New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. If your regularly scheduled pickup day falls on one of these three holidays, your pickup will be the following day. For example: following Thanksgiving, Thursday customers will be picked up on Friday. Friday customers will be picked up on Saturday.
What is your holiday schedule?
To acknowledge these holidays and to allow our employees to spend time with their families we do not provide service on: New Years Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Solano Recycles Buyback Center: Solano Recycles buyback center and B.O.P.A. drop-off will be closed for the following holidays: Christmas Day New Years Day Memorial Day Columbus Day Independance Day Thanksgiving Day Presidents Day Labor Day Martin Luther King Jr. Day Solano Garbage Company provides service to its customer every weekday with the exception of New Years Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. What time does the trash have to be out at the curb?
All refuse must be placed at the curb by 6.00 a.m. on your collection day.
What will you not pick up?
*We will not pick up:* flammable products paint cans tires animal carcasses manure dirt stone rock brick lead, acid/wet cell batteries railroad ties toxic materials bio-hazardous materials or waste propane/oxygen/helium tanks items containing gas or oil explosives live ammunition or weapons large amounts of animal waste oversized brush, (longer than 4 feet in length or 6 inches in diameter) bags weighing more than 50 pounds …or any items that cannot be safely loaded by our crews for removal or any items that may damage our hauling equipment
